Palmomino Tobiano Elton
SOLD!!! THANK YOU!!!
This handsome boy is currently up for offers on MH$P! Please see his ad here: https://modelhorsesalespages.com/view.asp?id=1470841 for more info!
Presenting for your consideration, another BreyerFest sales piece! SWF Top Banana, an Elton sculpted by the incomparable Jenn Scott! He acquired the studio name of Top Banana, which is a vaudeville term meaning the big name star comedian. You may of course name him what you wish though!
Elton has all the sass of the Shetland pony stallion he is! He is finished to a slightly shaggy palomino tobiano pinto in oils, pastel chalk, acrylics, & colored pencils. Sprayed with Testor's Dull Cote, & eyes, nose, mouth, & base edge glossed with Testor's Gloss Cote, hooves as well, but only to a natural sheen rather than a show gloss. Details include multi-toned detailed eyes, hair by haring around all of his markings, subtle dappling, detailed chestnuts, dirty whites, & hooves with growth lines & rings. His base has been textured with actual sand, securely 'glued' with Testors Dull Cote mixed in with it. The edge of his base has a touch of marbling showing, as though the sand has been sprinkled over fine marble. He is one solid piece with this base & not removable from it. His molded base fits tightly into a plinth base, that sports a continuation of the same marbling, painted in acrylic & finished with a semigloss spray. The recess of this plinth, the underside of the plinth, & the underside & edge of his molded base are painted with black gesso & finished with Dull Cote. Due to the close contact of these pieces, I have been unable to keep the black from wearing off with time in spots, but as it is not noticeable when displayed, I do not feel that it will affect his value or show career. A touch of Sharpi will most likely take care of any wear quickly & effectively if needed or desired.
Please be aware that picture color varies from monitor to monitor & that color may not be exact to what you see on your screen. My work is LSQ proven & BF Best CM Contest proven (winner in '17, finalist in '19). But as LSQ is subjective, I do not guarantee any piece to be LSQ. I would not hesitate to show him in a heartbeat though!
No sales to minors (I am happy to work with their adults though!)
Policies: I accept Pay Pal, & USPS MOs. PP payment by goods & services is due within 48 hours. USPS MO payment is due within a week, with some wiggle room since the PO is still a bit unreliable at this time (I'd suggest sending it priority). PIF is preferred. Time payments are accepted up to 4 months, minimum 20% down payment. I am open to considering other time frames/down payment % within reason if you need something different, please contact me with your proposition before bidding... I don't bite! All monies received are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Shipping: Due to this being BF week & my having several models to finish, photo, list, organize offers on, sell, pack, & ship, fully paid models will begin to ship by July 20 at the earliest. I thank you in advance for your patience. Elton will be shipped as soon as full payment has cleared. I do prefer to ship no later than Wednesdays to hopefully prevent models from sitting in the PO over the weekend. Shipping will be calculated exact to your location. I am willing to ship out of country, but of course it will cost more. I am not accountable for mishaps in shipping. The model will be packed to the very best of my ability & fully insured. I cannot be held responsible for any breakage or loss while in the possession of the USPS or other shipping entities. NO RETURNS.
I will not be held responsible for any illness contracted by possible mail contamination.
I reserve the right to refuse business with anyone, without explanation.
All that being said, I am genuinely quite happy to answer questions & work with you if I can! Drop me a note! :)
