Abaco Barbs 'Dust Devils' Medallion

For your consideration, the dynamic 'Dust Devils' medallion by Rayvin Maddock, finished to a pair of Abaco Barbs sparring in the water!
This is Rayvin's 2021 BF SR medallion "Dust Devils", & is finished to a couple of Abaco Barb stallions in bay splash pinto & HxH bay roan, now splashing around in a forest pool rather than a cloud of dust. (I've named them Water Spouts because of it!) This is a rather large medallion, measuring roughly 8 & 1/2 inches at the widest by 7 & 1/4 at the tallest, & is also free standing on its thick dust - now water - bottom. They are finished in oils, pastels, acrylics, & colored pencils. Sprayed with Testor's Dull Cote, & eyes, hooves, noses, mouths, water & wet spots glossed with Testor's Gloss Cote. Details include brown eyes/blue eye, with eye whites, elaborate painted mouths & teeth, hair-by-hair mapping on all markings, hair-by-hair roaning on the bay roan, hooves with growth rings/shaded frogs/souls, scars, a large plume of shaded/highlighted water, & darker 'wet' spots on the horses bodies. I decided to go all out on the back of these guys, & finished it with a quiet scene of a bay splash Abaco Barb mare in her serine forest home, shadows cast upon her side. It is painted in oils, & also sealed with Testor's Dull Cote.
This piece has not live shown, but did win Champion Medallion at the 2022 MEPSA International Championship Show, the inaugural year for medallions to show in MEPSA.
Please be aware that picture color varies from monitor to monitor & that color may not be exact to what you see on your screen. My work is LSQ proven & BF Best CM Contest proven (winner in '17, finalist in '19). But as LSQ is subjective, I do not guarantee any piece to be LSQ. I would not hesitate to show her in a heartbeat (& with a magnifying glass!) though!
I am asking $650.00, shipping & full insurance included within the continental US (exact to elsewhere). I will entertain reasonable offers. I will offer you 02% off your purchase if you will pay with a USPS MO (brings them down to $637.00) I am open to offers, feel free to pitch a number to me. I will entertain the possibility of personal checks, please ask. USPS MO payment is due within one business week, with some grace as the PO can be a bit unreliable at times. PP payment by goods & services is due within 48 hours. Time payments are accepted up to 6 months, minimum $50.00 down payment. If you have another payment proposal, I am willing to hear what you might need. All monies received are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Shipping: The model will be shipped ASAP once full payment has been confirmed. Shipping & full insurance is included within the continental US, exact to buyer elsewhere. I am quite willing to ship out of country, but of course it will cost more. I am not responsible for mishaps in out of country shipping. The model will be packed to the very best of my ability & fully insured. I cannot be held responsible for any breakage or loss while in the possession of the USPS or other shipping entities. NO RETURNS.
