John 3:16

 If you have one of my horses, chances are that this verse is on it next to my signature & date. It is my way of giving every one of my creations back to Him! The full verse is: "For God so loved the world that he gave His one & only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV transl.). We were created by God, & given a few rules to follow, like a parent making rules to keep their kids safe. He also gave us free will to make our own decisions, & being Human, we all have broken those rules. No Human is perfect, every one of us has sinned. & like any disobedience, there are consequences for the action. The consequence for sin is to be cut off from Heaven, life after death, & to be instead sentenced to Hell. God loves all of His creations, especially people, & wants us all to be with Him in Heaven, so he made a way that we can, despite our sins. He sent His Son Jesus, the Human incarnation of God & a perfect being, to Earth to suffer a horrible death, to pay for our penalty for Sin. After 3 days of being dead & buried in a tomb, Jesus rose from the grave, having defeated death, the consequence we would all have had to pay. He is more powerful than death itself & faced it so that we would not need to, but can live on in Heaven. Our sin's punishment has been paid for in full, all we have to do is to accept it as the gift that it is. Depending on the sin, we may not escape Earthly punishment, but we are fully pardoned by God, to be welcomed Home when our time comes. Knowing God & accepting His gift does not make Earthly life all rainbows & butterflies, but it does give us a compass point to always have Hope that He is in control even in the scariest situations.
 I am forever grateful that God gave me this gift, & like all fabulous presents, I am always excited to tell others about it!
