Brindle-Centril Mudminnow Big Takeshi Medallion
SOLD
Presenting, fresh from the studio, the one & only big Takeshi medallion sculpted by Kylee Parks!
His color is inspired by this bay brindle & a Central Mudminnow fish, & is painted in in oils, acrylics, pastel chalk, colored pencils, & all manner of Pearl-Ex powders, metallic/pearlescent paint, pearlescent spray finish, & colorshift paint both spray on & brush on. Sprayed with several layers of Testor's Dull Cote, & topped with a coat of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Matte Clear finish for a semi-gloss sheen, his eye, mouth, nose, & hooves are glossed with Testor's Gloss Cote. Details abound on this pretty fella, with multi colored scales, brindle striping, hooves with growth rings, multi-toned detailed green 'champagne' eye, hair-by-hair mapping on his face marking, & subtle shades of color on his mane & tail/fin. Pictures truly do not capture his colorshift & sparkle!
Takeshi's backside is also painted, sporting an underwater scene with light beams & water plants, painted in oils, signed in acrylic, & finished with Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Matte Clear finish for durability & topped with Testor's Dull Cote to bring it back down to a matte finish.
Takeshi will come with the goodies he arrived with; cloth Studio Thornrose bag, Takeshi sticker, & ST business cards.
Please be aware that picture color varies from monitor to monitor & that color may not be exact to what you see on your screen. My work is LSQ proven & BF Best CM Contest proven (winner in '17, finalist in '19). But as LSQ is subjective, I do not guarantee any piece to be LSQ. I would not hesitate to show him in a heartbeat though!
No sales to minors (I am happy to work with their patient adults though!)
Policies: I accept Pay Pal & USPS MOs. I will entertain the possibility of personal checks if I have done business with you in the past, please ask. PP payment by goods & services is due within 48 hours. USPS MO payment is due within a week, with some wiggle room since the PO can still be unreliable at times (I'd suggest sending it priority). Time payments are accepted up to 4 months (please contact me before bidding if you would like to discuss longer time frames), minimum $75.00 down payment, all monies received are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Shipping: The medallion will be shipped once full payment has cleared. Shipping will be exact to your location. I am willing to ship out of country, but of course it will cost more. I am not accountable for mishaps in out of country shipping. The model will be packed to the very best of my ability & fully insured. I cannot be held responsible for any breakage or loss while in the possession of the USPS or other shipping entities. NO RETURNS.
I will not be held responsible for any illness contracted by possible mail contamination.
I reserve the right to refuse business with anyone, without explanation.
All that being said, I am genuinely quite happy to answer questions & work with you if I can!
