Today I went on the first of a two-part expedition to hunt for ANYTHING Cara Dune (alas, I am doubtful I will ever own the Black Series figure I have been waiting for. 😭) I went to a new (to me) shop that was floor to ceiling, wall to wall, in front of, behind, hanging from the ceiling, toys, figures, & comic books, both old & new! It was AWESOME! I found ONE Cara Dune Funko Pop, which will probably be the only pop I ever own (not really my thing), but I am excited to find it! Look who came to visit today! Last fall Dad nailed venison suet to this tall tree stump outside the house, & it has been a hit with all manner of wood peckers, blue jays, crows, & now this red tail (& later on today a black vulture who was far less welcome). I got TONS of pics of this pretty enjoying his meal, & somehow managed to be lucky enough to catch this shot as he flew off! #redtailedhawk

Angel, who is a sweetie, brought this silly little paint kit 'happy Valentine's day' unicorn to draw names for, just for fun! She had everyone write their names on a piece of paper, put it in a bowl, & asked Mom to draw the name. Yesterday was a GREAT day!! I held my second ever NaMoPaiMo party! It was a blast to get together with these great folks!! @nickel_and_rascal was working on some whites, @lainiescraft painted her first ever Breyer (I'm so proud of her!!), @edutter0912 made progress on her NaMo G2 Sheltand, Angel Bonewitz was still doing prep & CMing on her little NaMo, @lauramccartney was working on an ink pencil drawing, Mom was crocheting, & Nickel's Hubby was reading in the far corner!
